Sound

different when pressed

like fat fig tree rubs

against the sides of your house

like a violin

you sound in silence

your sorrow and your beating heart

steady, untraced, beneath

we move

making little noise

in the cusp of each other

where joy exists

there is often

no sound

but the rinsing of

sin in perfect completion

of the other

opening flower

You’ve really captured the solitude and ease of a connection, dear Candy! <3

  3. Thank you so much my friend for taking the time to read this. My reading stats have been way down since leaving WP. I think because in order to read, people have to click and it takes them to my site, rather than WP which makes it an extra step. I so appreciate you taking the time to make the extra step. xo
